The Climate Tree gives individuals, organisations and their staff the opportunity to support and engage with a development and conservation project of their choice.

The Climate Tree is also our alternative suggestion to carbon offsetting which, as a system to reduce the carbon in our atmosphere, really doesn't work. Our projects help people and their local environment first, but they all have a climate benefit too.

We make no correlation between your donation and cutting equivalent amounts of carbon emissions, because there isn't one. Our projects help people and their local environment first but they all have a climate benefit too.

By donating to any one of our Climate Tree projects conserving forests and helping communities around the world, you have a big, very direct and positive impact on our climate.

15% of all carbon emissions come from our actions that destroy forests, so maintaining them is fundamental in the fight against climate change and for protecting biodiversity as well as safeguarding the lives of indigenous forest peoples and local communities.
