Members of ANY European Timber Trade Federation can now benefit from TTAP support to get ready for the future!

With immediate effect, members of any European Timber Trade Federation (TTF) can benefit from TTAP subsidised technical support.

TFT within the TTAP project offers technical support to companies who aim at achieving legality verification of their supply chains. The cost of this support is subsidised to 72% by the European Union so companies interested to engage will only have to cover 28% of the costs of TFT's technical support.

In the past, only members of those TTFs who have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with The Forest Trust (UK TTF, VVNH, FBCIB, LCB) could get TTAP subsidised technical support. This rule has changed so TFT can now work with all members of any European TTF, preparing them for third party verification and making sure they are ready for changing and challenging market requirements in the future.

To date, TFT has successfully supported 8 supply chains to become legally verified in Malaysia; 3 supply chains in Indonesia with 2 more about to receive their VLO certificate, and 12 in Cameroon. Our teams are also bringing forests and factories to legality verification in China, Brazil, Guyana, Gabon and the  Republic of Congo.

We are ready to accept new challenges and offer our full support to companies who want to achieve third party verification of their supply chains.

We can work in any of our TTAP partner countries which in addition to the above list includes Bolivia and Suriname. We are also open to discuss the scope to work in other producer countries e.g. in CAR or DRC.
